Oodles of Missing Moolah

I do enjoy a good infographic. The subject matter of this one is particularly interesting because it reveals the various, truly staggering ways in which the US government has ‘lost’ a total of $12.4 trillion since 1999; that’s money that cannot be accounted for. No one knows what happened to it. It is missing. Presumed spent, laundered or used as bedding by evil geniuses.

This amount, by the way, is roughly equivalent to 73% of the total US national debt. Click to view the large version.
